Firefighters In Virginia Investigating Blaze That Broke Out At Academies Of Loudoun One firefighter and one civilian were injured on Tuesday afternoon when a fire broke out at the Academies of Loudoun magnet school.  Loudoun County Fire and Rescue crews were called to a reported fire at the school that was quickly knocked down after all students were safely evacuated from the building before firefighters arrived, officials said. Motorcyclist Killed On Stafford Road ID'd As 57-Year-Old Man Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a Stafford crash Thursday, March 14. Michael Pickeral was heading east on Joshua Road when he was struck by a westbound driver that swerved into oncoming traffic just after 5:15 p.m., the sheriff's office said. Pickeral was hit head-on near Greenleaf Terrace. Deputies, Fire and Rescue staff, and a witness all attempted to perform life-saving measures on the motorcyclist.
