Unlicensed Driver Leads 'Bucket List' Pursuit Through Stafford: Police A 30-year-old woman who said she led a police pursuit because it was on her "bucket list" in life is feeling the consequences of her own actions, authorities in Stafford said. Stafford County Sheriff's Deputy G.P. McCaulley was at a red light on Richmind Highway, when he noticed a vehicle driven by Tandya Lee reaching speeds up to 77 mph in a 55 mph zone, as soon as the light turned green around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, the sheriff's office said in a news release. Speeding Motorcyclist, 19, Dead In Stafford County Crash With Box Truck: Sheriff Authorities have identified the 19-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a Stafford County crash this week. Fnu Sajid, of Stafford, was heading north on Richmond Highway at a high rate of speed when he struck a box truck turning left from the southbound side of the highway onto Eskimo Hill Road, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said. The crash happened around 12:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8. Sajid was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the box truck was uninjured and remained on scene. Neither driver had enough reaction time to avoid the accident. The crash remains …

Semi-Truck Rollover Shuts Down Stafford Road A Stafford County road was shut down for several hours Wednesday evening after a semi-truck rolled over and blocked both lanes of traffic.  The Stafford County Sheriff's Office warned drivers to avoid the 300 block of Eskimo Hill Road in Stafford following the afternoon crash. The truck's two open-top trailers were tossed onto their side and stretched across the roadway. Their cargo of heavy tree debris also spilled out onto the pavement making clean-up more difficult.  It's unclear what caused the wreck. Deputies said no one was injured.
