Suspects Hundreds Of Miles From Home Linked To Violent Armed CVS Robbery In Maryland: Police
Two out-of-state men are accused of driving hundreds of miles from their hometowns to Maryland, where they held up a CVS location during a violent robbery, police say.
Shakir Dequan Jude, 31, of Cary, North Carolina, and Justin Thomas Whitaker, 32, of Brooklyn, are both facing charges in connection with a May armed robbery in Potomac, the Montgomery County Department of Police announced on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
At around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, May 25, the masked duo entered the CVS in the 7900 block of Tuckerman Lane wearing gloves and armed with handguns.

Drunken Man Looking For Fights On Bus, Aggressive Thief Arrested In Fairfax, Cops Say
Fairfax City police have announced the arrests of two people.
Luis Hernandez, 26, and Youthana Inthirath, 54, were both arrested on June 10, police said.
Hernandez allegedly swiped multiple items from CVS when he was confronted by an employee at the Fairfax Boulevard store, police said. Hernandez punched the employee multiple times, caused extensive damage to the store, and fled with stolen items, according to police.
He was quickly found by officers and charged with felony destruction of property, assault and battery, and petit larceny.

Cara Wolfe of Fredericksburg died suddenly on Monday, Dec. 25.
Cara, who was 46 years old, had been battling a bacterial infection, according to her obituary on the Covenant Funeral Home website.
Born in Hershey, PA, Cara went on to earn a degree in computer information systems from Strayer University and had recently been working as a pharmacy tech at CVS, her obit says.
The mom of two loved spending time with her children, Natalie, and son, Declan, her obit says.

Serial CVS Thief Who Threatened Pregnant Woman's Belly With Gun In DC Gets Prison Time
A serial robber who targeted CVS locations across DC during a months-long crime spree will spend years in prison, authorities announced.
District resident Lonnell Hart, 50, was sentenced to 132 months in prison after pleading guilty last summer to four counts of interfering with interstate commerce by robbery (Hobbs Act), following a string of thefts that stretched from August 2017 and October 2017.
According to court documents, between Aug. 15, 2017, and Oct. 25, 2017, Hart robbed four Washington, DC CVS pharmacies.
