A MAC Commonwealth championship win for the Stevenson University's lacrosse team was overshadowed by grief this year. Former player Callum Robinson, 33, who had been reported missing several days ago after a surfing trip to Mexico's Baja California coast, has been identified as one of three people found dead along the coast. The others, his brother Jake, 30, and friend Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, authorities announced over the weekend. Another Homeless Peeper Busted In Arlington, Police Say
Yet another peeper has been arrested in Arlington. Residents of a 17th Street home were inside when they spotted Christopher Sails, 40, outside on May 6 around 2 a.m., police said, The residents said Sails was peeping inside of their home on March 27. Responding officers found a man matching the description given by the residents, and identified Sails as the suspect. He was charged with peeing and held without bond. For the third time in a decade, Herbert Otey was arrested for peeping in Arlington, authorities said. A woman on the 2000 block of Columbia Pike called police saying a man had been looking into a window of her home before leaving on foot just before 9:30 p.m. on April 29, police in Arlington said. Leesburg police are on the lookout for a pair of imposters who stole money from a motorist last week. The men were in a newer model grey Toyota Corolla with tinted windows when they pulled up alongside the victim on the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE Friday, April 26 around 4:30 p.m., police said. Armed Burglar Caught Fleeing Across Golf Course In Fairfax County
A man who broke into a home and robbed a woman at gunpoint was arrested after attempting to flee across a Fairfax County golf course, police said. The man broke into a home on the 2200 block of Stone Wheel Drive in Reston and robbed the woman at gunpoint. Police said only that he then tried to flee across a nearby golf course. While police did not say which golf course he fled through, the closest is Reston National Golf Course is located approximately one mile away. He was quickly apprehended, police said.

Police are searching for the man who a 35-year-old woman said grabbed her and sexually assaulted her in Manassas over the weekend. The victim was walking near Fairmount Avenue and Anvil Drive between 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 19 and 12:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, when she was grabbed by a complete stranger, Prince William County police said. A 47-year-old Maryland man is accused of sending sexually-explicit messages to a minor earlier this year in Prince William County, authorities said. Lamar Bobby Hopkins, of Oxon Hill, MD, was an acquaintance of the victim who received the disturbing texts in February 2023, in Woodbridge, Prince William County police said. The Metropolitan Police Department is attempting to track down suspects who shot at a Special Police Officer in Southeast DC on Wednesday night.
