Federal officials say that a former police officer in Maryland who joined the US Army National Guard will spend years in prison after being busted with thousands of child pornography charges.
Daniel Morozewicz, 38, of Frederick, was sentenced in federal court to 42 months in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release for the possession of child pornography.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl and recording part of it, before sending it to at least one other person, authorities in Prince William County said.
Dominque Allen Sequeria-Carter, of Woodbridge, met up with the girl at a Woodbridge home sometime between Jan. 2 and 5, 2023, PWC police said.
