Police in Leesburg are investigating a rash of car thefts, some of which were caught on surveillance footage. The multiple thefts from vehicles and tampering incidents occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Feb. 6, local police said. Of the 26 vehicles involved, 14 were entered and had items taken, police said. None of the entered vehicles were believed to be locked.
