4-Year-Old Left Home Alone As Drunken Dad Sleeps Under Tree In Virginia, Police Say A 34-year-old Virginia man has been arrested after police found him passed out drunk, his child left home alone, authorities said. Bryan Andrew Taylor was found intoxicated and sleeping under a tree by police who came to check up on his 4-year-old child left home alone, around 11:35 p.m. Monday, March 25, Prince William County police said. Officers were called to the scene by concerned neighbors. Taylor was found under a tree in an adjacent row of homes. The child was not injured.
