Stafford resident Anthony Pittman was taken into custody on Friday following an incident that played out on Thursday afternoon. Janae Lancaster was trying to break into a home of a man she knew on the 900 block of S. Dinwiddie Street just before 6 p.m. on April 30, authorities in Arlington said. The victim confronted Lancester, during which a struggle ensued. Details Released In Shooting Near Preschool That Brought Police To Arlington Block A 21-year-old man was jailed after his firearm discharged during a fight near an Arlington preschool, bringing a heavy police presence to the scene last week, police said. Arlington's Chase Smith displayed a handgun during an argument with another man around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7 on the 2200 block of S. Kenmore Street, county police said. The two began physically fighting over the gun, during which a shot was fired, police said.
