Three people were stabbed in fight between five people in Arlington Friday night, Dec. 15, police said. Reports of a stabbing in the stairwell of a building on the 5100 block of Columbia Pike came just before 6:10 p.m. Responding officers found a man suffering from a gash and immediately began rendering aid. An 18-year-old man who was one of four people who opened fire on a vehicle last week in Arlington has been arrested, while three others remain at large, police said. Darnell Moore, Jr., of Arlington, and three other individuals approached a vehicle at S. Kemper Road and S. Death Of Inmate At Arlington County Detention Facility Being Investigated, Police Say
An inquiry has been launched after there was a reported in-custody death at the Arlington County Detention Facility. Shortly before 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, police and fire crews were called to the facility, where 55-year-old David Gerhard, of Hedgesville, West Virginia, was found unresponsive in the medical unit, officials say. A man died after falling several stories from a building under construction in Arlington over the weekend, authorities said. The incident happened at Fairfax Drive and N.
