A man was fatally struck by an Amtrak train in Fredericksburg on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 30, sparking an investigation by local and federal authorities, police said. A 55-year-old Fredericksburg man was killed in a collision involving an Amtrak train in Spotsylvania County. Aaron L. Krebs was heading east on Mine Road in a 2013 Chevrolet Impala when he disregarded railroad crossing arms, which were down for an approaching train around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, Virginia State Police said.
