Victims Shot Dead From Upstairs Apartment In Prince William County: Police

Bullet holes believed to have come from an upstairs apartment were found in the ceiling of a unit where two men were found dead by police performing a welfare check Saturday, May 14 in Fairfax, authorities said.

Malik Xavier Davis, 23, of Woodbridge, and Christian Jamar Roberts, 23, of Dumfries, both suffered gunshot wounds and were unresponsive when police responded to the Woodbridge Station Apartments just after 4 p.m., county police said.

Detectives were investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting. Preliminarily, the incident does not appear to be random and there is no active threat to the community.
