Raymond J. Obregon, Jr., 34, suddenly passed away on Monday, Dec. 19. He leaves behind a daughter, and numerous beloved family members, according to his obituary.
"Raymond was a perpetual learner, a faithful follower of God, and a proud father", stated organizer Meghan Leatherwood. "His short time here on Earth has taught us many lessons about love, forgiveness, and faith. Raymond's legacy will live on forever, especially through his beloved 9-year-old daughter, Sofia".
A Fairfax native, Raymond graduated from W.T. Woodson High School in 2007, and went on to graduate from George Mason University in 2011 as a member of the Theta Chi fraternity, his obituary continued.
Raymond lived life to the fullest always wanting to learn more, whether it was philosophical or scientific, his obituary continues. Raymond held his faith close, and was always willing to give the best insight to others.
