A 20-year-old Fredericksburg man was arrested after stabbing his mother’s boyfriend and then calling 911 to report the incident, authorities announced. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Townsend Boulevard at approximately 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, following the suspect’s call. When they arrived, they found Jaydon Mathew Staples flagging them down outside the residence. Two young men from Spotsylvania have been arrested in connection to a shooting and robbery that was reported in Fredericksburg last month, authorities announced on Monday afternoon. A 17-year-old and Darren Wright, 20, are behind bars following an investigation into a shooting that left one person injured on Thursday, May 9. Accidental Shooting Wounds Loudoun County Sheriff's Deputy At Training Center
A Loudoun County Sheriff's Deputy was rushed into emergency surgery in an accidental shooting Thursday morning, June 13, officials tell Daily Voice. The incident happened at the sheriff's firing rang on Leesburg Road around 8:20 a.m., a spokesperson for the county sheriff's office said. "While we cannot provide more specific details at this time, we can confirm that the incident involved another deputy and occurred during a routine training exercise," the spokesman said. One deputy was taken to a local hospital and is stable and out of surgery, the spokesman said.
