A Fourth of July shooting is under investigation in Stafford County after a man and several vehicles were struck by gunfire, according to the sheriff's office. Shortly after 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, deputies were called to a reported shooting on Anvil Road in Olde Forge to investigate reports of shots fired. Officials say that upon arrival, they found multiple shell casings and several vehicles damaged by bullets. A man also suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Arrest Made In Triple Leesburg Shooting, Police Say
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in a shooting that left three people wounded in Loudoun County, authorities said. Sylvanus Massaquoi is believed to have shot the three males on the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE in Leesburg around 7:45 p.m. Thursday, May 30, police said. The victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Massaquoi, of Sterling, was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
