What started as an investigation into a reported stolen vehicle at the Fair Oaks Shopping Center ended when a suspect took over a police cruiser and quickly crashed in Fairfax County. Officers were called to the shopping center on Friday, June 21 to probe reports of a stolen vehicle; however, one of the suspects took off in the cruiser, only to into another police vehicle nearby.
