Three foreign nationals are behind bars after allegedly abducting a woman outside a Walmart in Virginia, forcing her at gunpoint to drive to an ATM, and then to her home before fleeing with stolen cash and property, police announced.
The Culpeper Police Department said it happened Wednesday morning, Aug. 27, around 10:30 a.m., when the woman was leaving the Walmart on James Madison Highway.

The US State Department has issued updated travel guidance for one of America’s closest neighbors, citing a mix of safety risks for visitors.
The advisory that went live on Tuesday, Aug. 12 applies to Mexico, where officials say travelers should “exercise increased caution” because of threats that include terrorism, crime, and kidnapping.

A Facebook Marketplace meeting to buy a BMW in Maryland ended in gunfire threats and a crash after three men allegedly robbed the seller at gunpoint and tried to get away in a stolen Infiniti, police said.
When the men arrived, 18-year-old Julian Chase Rose, of Beltsville, and 19-year-old Prince Chukang, of Silver Spring, “displayed a handgun and demanded the keys to the BMW,” according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.

A man accused of fatally shooting two teenagers during a suspected drug deal involving a carjacked vehicle in Maryland is now wanted for murder, police announced.
Duan Goddard, 27, of Fort Washington, is charged with killing 16-year-old Thomas Smith Jr., of Washington, DC, and 16-year-old Michael Bassett, of Temple Hills, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
