Virginia Dad Flees With Kids In Car Before Crash, Barricade, Sheriff Says
A Virginia man is facing a string of charges after allegedly assaulting a deputy, fleeing with three children in a relative’s car, crashing into a fence, and barricading himself inside a home, authorities said.
Deputies responded to a dispute on Tuesday, June 24, in the 4600 block of Patriot Highway, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
During the investigation, they discovered the man involved — identified as Rodney Ellis, 29 — was wanted by another jurisdiction.

Agnes Dawidowicz, 42, and her son Charlie Dawidowicz, 3, were discovered unresponsive in a vehicle parked at their residence on the 2100 block of Barley Drive on Sunday, June 8, authorities said.
