Charges Upgraded For DWI Driver In Deadly Sidewalk Crash, Fairfax County PD Says
Charges have been upgraded for a 38-year-old man who police previously said was driving drunk in a crash that killed a pedestrian on the sidewalk last May in Fairfax County, police announced.
Michael Rambudhan, of Woodbridge, was charged with DUI manslaughter on Friday, July 26, in connection with the crash that killed 54-year-old Lucius Gaskins, of Alexandria, county police said.

DUI Teen Driver Arrested In Fatal Pedestrian Crash, Fairfax County Police Say
A DUI teenage driver has been charged in a Fairfax County crash that killed a 35-year-old pedestrian this weekend, authorities said.
The 17-year-old driver of a 2017 Jeep Cherokee was heading east on Lorton Road near Timarand Drive in Lortin, when he struck Jamar Caper, 35, of Alexandria, who was trying to cross Lorton Road around 10:35 p.m. Saturday, July 20, county police said.
Caper was hospitalized where he was pronounced dead.
