Investigators Release Report On Deadly Loudoun County Home Explosion That Killed Firefighter The Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System (LC-CFRS) has released its comprehensive report on the February 2024 house explosion in Sterling that tragically claimed the life of Firefighter Trevor Brown and injured 13 others. Carjacker Who Killed Maryland Woman In Virginia Was Undocumented Non-Citizen, Sheriff Says The 21-year-old man who killed a Maryland grandmother with her own vehicle during a carjacking in Virginia over the weekend is an undocumented non-citizen, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Jose Aguilar-Martinez was arrested this week in connection to the fatal carjacking involving Silver Spring resident Melody Waldecker, 54.
