Motorists on I-81 in Northern Virginia had to contend with lengthy delays on Thursday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash. All northbound lanes of the interstate were closed in the County of Frederick as of 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 17 near mile marker 318, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. Frederick County Public Schools in Virginia were closed on Wednesday after threats of violence spread online, causing alarm, and prompting the emergency shut down. A couple married for more than three decades from West Virginia were killed earlier this month in a Virginia crash on Route 259, according to state police. Randy Malick, 58, and wife Frances Malick, 57, both of Charles Town, have been identified as the pair who were killed in a Frederick County crash on Friday afternoon. A fugitive from Woodbridge who was wanted in connection to the murder of a 52-year-old man in Virginia has been apprehended, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office.
