Student Stalked By Substitute Teacher, Arlington Officials Say An Arlington Public Schools substitute teacher has been arrested on charges of sexual misconduct involving a student, and police are seeking additional victims, officials announced. Timothy McGhee, 47, of Alexandria, VA, was arrested on January 10 following a criminal investigation by the Arlington County Police Department’s Special Victims Unit. McGhee is charged with taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a supervisory or custodial relationship and stalking, police said. 1 Critical When Gunfire Erupts In Hotel Parking Lot Fight, Arlington Police Say One person was in critical condition after being shot in what police say began as a fight in a hotel parking lot over the weekend in Arlington. Officers responded to multiple reports of shots heard on the 1200 block of N. Courthouse Road around 2:50 a.m. Sunday, May 19, where they learned the adult, male victim had taken himself to an area hospital after being shot.
