A call about a suspicious car and masked man in Warren County led to the arrest of an Arlington teen who was found with homemade explosive devices in the stolen vehicle, according to the sheriff's office. Jordan Alexander Sweetman, 19, was taken into custody after deputies found him in a stolen, damaged Honda near a 7-Eleven on John Marshall Highway in Linden around 9:30 p.m. on New Year's Day. 'Largest Seizure Of Explosive Devices In FBI History' Made At Virginia Farm: Prosecutors
A Virginia man arrested last month for possession of an illegal rifle was allegedly in possession of one of the largest arsenals of explosive devices ever seized by the FBI, according to court documents. During a raid of 36-year-old Brad Spafford's property in the Isle of Wight County, officials say that they recovered more than 150 bombs, unstable chemicals, and a notebook full of explosive recipes, authorities said.
