A man was killed in a pedestrian crash that shut down part of Route 28 in Fairfax County on Monday morning, officials said. First responders were called to a stretch of the roadway in Chantilly at around 7 a.m. on Dec. 23 in the area of Poplar Tree Road, where there were reports of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle. UPDATE: Crash with Injury. VA-28 NB at VA-657( Walney Road). Fairfax County, VA. 2 right travel lanes remain blocked. Traffic gets by the scene using two left lanes.
