A deputy-involved shooting left a man hospitalized after he accosted two others who both suffered stab wounds in Washington County on Thursday afternoon, according to the sheriff's office. First responders in Washington County had their hands full on Sunday following a multi-car train derailment that remains under investigation a day later. According to fire officials, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, crews from the Hagerstown Fire Department were called to the 300 block of South Burhans Boulevard, where there was a reported derailment. Teen Accused Of Murder In Maryland Home Charged As Adult, Sheriff Says
A 16-year-old will be charged as an adult following a fatal midday shooting inside a Washington County home, authorities announced. Kamari Kenyon Meniefield, 16, is being held behind bars for his alleged role in the murder of 23-year-old Devin Anthony Meniefield earlier this week in Hagerstown.
