One Killed In Officer-Involved Spotsylvania Shooting, Sheriff Says The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office is investigating following an officer-involved shooting that left a 38-year-old man dead on Sunday morning. Shortly after 3:15 p.m. on June 30, deputies were called to the 10400 block of Spotswood Drive to investigate a reported domestic disturbance involving a weapon. Upon arrival, officials say that deputies were met by a man armed with a gun pointing it at a woman, prompting one of the investigators to fire his weapon, striking and killing the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Spotsylvania Fire and EMS personnel. The woman was unharmed.…

New Details Released, Suspect Vehicle ID'd After I-495 Shooting In Virginia The Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation has identified and is now looking to locate the suspect vehicle (pictured above) involved in last week's shooting incident on I-495 in Fairfax County. According to investigators, the suspect vehicle is a blue, two-door 2010 Honda Civic with Virginia license plate: TWW 9398. The incident began at approximately 4:50 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, when state police were notified by a motorist advising that his vehicle was shot by the driver of a blue Honda as they were both traveling north on I-495 near Exit 52B for Route 236/Little River …
