Drunken Fredericksburg Man Terrorizes Stafford Deputies, Wawa, Hotel Staff: Sheriff
A man cursing and screaming at hotel and Wawa employees is behind bars, police in Stafford County said.
A man later identified as Michael Fauntleroy, 55, of Fredericksburg, brought police to the Excel Inn & Suites on Warrenton Road around 1:50 a.m. Jan. 18, for cursing and screaming at an employee, the county sheriff's office said.
Fauntleroy was removed from the property, and authorities hoped that was the end of that. It wasn't.
Ten minutes later, Fauntleroy went to the Wawa on South Gateway Drive and did the same, authorities said.

Dog's No Demon: Animal Abuser Arrested In Virginia, Sheriff Says
A domestic dispute over animal abuse ultimately led to the arrest of a 30-year-old man in Stafford County for being cruel to his dog, the sheriff's office announced.
In late December, deputies were called to a Knollwood Court residence to investigate a report of a disturbance involving Rickey Carr, who was brandishing a handgun.
According to a spokesperson from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, Carr had allegedly been beating his pit bull, named Demon, with a stick, and when he was confronted by others in the home, Carr took out the gun.

That's the message Stafford County Sheriff's deputies are sharing after a driver tried doing their job, ultimately making things worse for himself, they said.
