Easter Sunday Crash Kills Motorcyclist In Loudoun County A motorcyclist died hours after an Easter Sunday crash in Loudoun County, police said. The 2002 Honda motorcycle and a 2015 Honda CRV collided at Mooreview Parkway and Boulevard just before 7 p.m. Sunday, March 31, the sheriff's office said. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries where they died just before 7 a.m. Monday, April 1. There were no reported injuries to the occupants in the CRV. The Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident. The motorcyclist's name was not released.

Pedestrian Killed In Rt. 50 Crash (Update) A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car early Thursday, July 27 in Loudoun County. The crash happened around 5:45 a.m. near John Mosby Highway (Rt. 50) and Pleasant Valley Road in Chantilly, the sheriff's office said. A man was pronounced deceased on the scene, and the driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene. The crash remains under investigation. The name of the pedestrian was not being released, pending next of kin notification. Additional information will be provided as appropriate.
