Thieving Brothers Lead I-95 Pursuit In Virginia: Sheriff
A pair of brothers from Woodbridge led Stafford County Sheriff's deputies on a chase along Interstate 95 after a theft at Walmart, authorities said. On Thursday, Jan. 11 at about 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to Walmart, at 11 Village Parkway, for a larceny, the Sheriff's Office said. Walmart workers told deputies that two suspects had left the store with multiple stolen electronic devices. The suspects smashed into another vehicle and fled, deputies said. Sgt. A. Drunk Bank Robber Arrested In Stafford County: Police
Police arrested a Fredericksburg man for robbing a local Stafford County bank, officials said. At around 3:30 p.m. on August 18, officers responded to the Truist Bank on Warrenton Road and Plantation Drive, to find the bank had been robbed and the suspect was no where to be found, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. While law enforcement and a K-9 searched the scene, an officer got word of an intoxicated man entering vehicles in a nearby Target parking lot, police said. Suspected DUI Driver Found Asleep In Middle Of Intersection: Police
A suspected intoxicated driver made it easy for police when they found him asleep behind the wheel in the middle of an intersection over the weekend. Jowan Edwards' Honda Accord was stopped at the Warrenton Road and Plantation Drive just before 2 a.m. on Friday, May 27, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. The car was still in drive, the hazard lights were blinking, and the front-right tire was nearly torn off, deputies reported.
