Thief Captured After Arlington Bicycle, Foot Chase: Cops
A 34-year-old man was arrested after assaulting an employee trying to stop him during a robbery in Arlington, police said. A man later identified as Deonte Driver went into a business on the 700 block of N. Glebe Road around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, county police said. Driver allegedly took and hid items in a basket, and began to leave without paying. When confronted by two employees, Driver pushed one to the ground before fleeing the scene on a bike, authorities said. The employee sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment. Drunken Ex-Con Flashes Firearm After Argument In Arlington: Police
A 34-year-old ex-con was drunk when he flashed a gun at a person he'd been arguing with in Arlington early Tuesday, March 26, police said. Jerrell Copeland and the victim were arguing in a car on the unit block of N. Glebe Road before Copleand got out and flashed a gun as he walked away around 1:05 a.m., county officials said. Driver Exposes Himself To Runner In Arlington, Police Say
A woman running in Arlington contacted police after she say a driver exposed himself to her over the weekend. The driver of a blue sedan stopped in the lane of travel and exposed himself to the runner on the 2500 block of N. Glebe Road around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, county police said. The driver, a white man with white hair in sunglasses, then drove off, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

Burglar Sexually Assaults Sleeping Arlington Woman
Police in Arlington are seeking for the person who broke into a woman's home and sexually assaulted her in her sleep. The incident happened on the 300 block of N. Glebe Road around 1:05 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 2, Arlington County police said. The victim kicked the suspect who fled the scene, only to return a short time later. That time, he tried to convince the woman to leave with him, police said. He left again. Driver Pulled From Car, Hospitalized In Nasty Arlington Crash: Fire Officials
Police shut down northbound lanes of the George Washington Parkway Thursday evening, June 2, as authorities investigate a serious crash. Rescue crews rushed one woman to the hospital.
