Parkway Shut Down Following Stafford County Sheriff's Pursuit Of Wanted Men (Developing) Three wanted suspects are in custody and a deputy suffered minor injuries during a police pursuit on I-95 in Stafford County, according to a spokesperson from the sheriff's office. At approximately 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, deputies spotted a wanted person in a vehicle heading north on I-95, leading to the pursuit that took them onto Centreport Parkway. The driver eventually got off the interstate, then got back into the southbound lanes of I-95, where deputies were able to force the driver off the road. Shortly before 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning, officers responded to a reported robbery in the area of Columbia Pike at South Four Mile Run Drive when four suspects approached him and forcibly stole electronics before fleeing. The man reported minor injures, but refused medical attention. Thief Captured After Arlington Bicycle, Foot Chase: Cops A 34-year-old man was arrested after assaulting an employee trying to stop him during a robbery in Arlington, police said. A man later identified as Deonte Driver went into a business on the 700 block of N. Glebe Road around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, county police said. Driver allegedly took and hid items in a basket, and began to leave without paying. When confronted by two employees, Driver pushed one to the ground before fleeing the scene on a bike, authorities said.
