A dog had to be euthanized in Virginia after being stabbed while being taken for a walk with its owner in Falls Church, police say. Broadlands resident Reyan Hassan Ibrahim, 25, was arrested by members of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) Police Department at around 11 a.m. on Monday morning during a traffic stop near Dulles International Airport in connection to the assault of a dog. A homeless man who stole a car then burglarized two homes has been arrested in Loudoun County, police said. A man later identified as Allen Goins, 42, stole a car left running from a home on the 100 block of Lawson Road SE in Leesburg around 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, local police said. A 43-year-old man is facing charges after authorities say he shot at a vehicle that struck his dog in Loudoun County. Masked thieves plowed a stolen car through the front of a Loudoun County gun store before swiping long guns overnight, authorities said. Officers responding to reports of sounds of a crash found the stolen 4-door Kia sedan lodged in the front of Loudoun Guns on Industrial Court in Leesburg around 4 a.m., local police said. Arrest Made Shopping Center Shooting, Additional Suspects Possible: Loudoun Sheriff
Police have made an arrest in a Loudoun County shopping plaza shooting. Richard Edmundson, of no fixed addressed, is believed to have shot one person in the parking lot of the Dulles Retail Plaza in Sterling on Nov. 27, the county sheriff said.
