Dulles Airport Plane Crash Loudoun County Parkway A 27-year-old pilot masterfully landed a small plane on Loudoun County Parkway Friday, Jan. 19, officials said. Ahmed Awais, of Florida, was headed to Lancaster Airport in PA, and had just departed from Dulles Airport with Southern Airways Express Flight 246, when the plane went down in the DIREX lanes near Arcola Mills Drive, around 12:15 p.m., according to the FAA and local authorities. Victims Of Triple Fatal Loudoun Parkway Crash ID'd Authorities have identified the three people killed in this week's crash on Loudoun County Parkway. Iran K. Hinson, of Las Vegas, was operating a 2023 Dodge Challenger north on the Parkway when he lost control near Shellhorn Road and struck a Toyota Sienna taxi head-on around 10:50 p.m., the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. Dejene B. Haye, the driver of the Toyota, of Silver Spring, MD, and  James E. Humphrey, the passenger, of Brambleton, VA, both died, as did Hinson.
