Twin Brothers Busted Stealing Hams, Other Items With Intent To Sell Them In Virginia: Sheriff
Two twin brothers are spending time behind bars together after an ill-advised attempt to shoplift at a Stafford County Walmart, according to the sheriff's office. Woodbridge residents Anthony Hagler and Nicholas Hagler, both 40, were apprehended after being caught stealing items that investigators say they intended to re-sell for a profit. Lidl Weeks Away From Opening Latest Northern VA Store
Lidl has an opening date for its latest northern Virginia store. The German, budget grocer will be coming to Chantilly Crossing Lane in Chantilly on Wednesday, May 3, will receive gift cards worth up to $100. A raffle for a $500 gift card will also be held. Free samples, Lidl swag and other goodies are also in the mix. The Chantilly store is nearly six years in the making, having been proposed in 2017. Headquartered in Arlington, the discount grocer has more than 30 stores in Virginia.

Nationwide Recall Issued For Cheese Products Due To Potential Listeria Contamination
A manufacturer has issued a nationwide recall for two of its brands of cheese because of potential contamination with Listeria, the Food and Drug Administration announced on Friday, Sept. 30. Old Europe Cheese, Inc. of Benton Harbor, Michigan is recalling its Brie and Camembert cheeses due to the concerns of Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems.
