Man Stabs Stranger Inside Virginia Business Unprovoked, Police Say A 27-year-old Alexandria man is in custody after allegedly stabbing a stranger in an unprovoked attack inside a Bailey’s Crossroads business, Fairfax County Police said. The incident happened at approximately 2:18 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19 in the 5600 block of Leesburg Pike, where responding officers found the victim, an adult, suffering from stab wounds to his upper body. The victim was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say the suspect, Richard Fuentes Cordova, remained at the scene and was arrested without incident, police said. Alexandria Hit-Run Driver, 26, Charged In Fatal Pedestrian Crash: Police A 26-year-old woman has been charged in an October crash that left a 40-year-old pedestrian dead, police in Fairfax County said. Yaraliz Rivera Rosado, of Alexandria, had been wanted on warrants for felony hit-and-run, when she allegedly struck struck Elise Ballard while heading west in a 2017 Infiniti QX60 on Leesburg Pike in Bailey’s Crossroads. on Oct. 26, police said.
