An investigation has been launched in Northeast DC following a dog attack that left a toddler hospitalized, police say. Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, an officer from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 4500 block of Clermont Drive NE, where there was a report of an animal attack involving the child. Six Puppies Kidnapped From Mom In DC, Reward Offered
The Humane Rescue Alliance in D.C. has offered a reward of $7,500 in the hopes of finding six stolen puppies, sources said. On September 14, the HRA announced that multiple now five-week-old puppies were kidnapped and stripped from their mother when they were just three weeks old. These puppies are supposed to remain with their mother, Godiva, and littermates until eight to 10 weeks old, the HRA said. The search is on for whoever stole young puppies born at the Humane Rescue Alliance (HRA) after they were kidnapped from their mother at a vulnerable time at a foster home.
