These Eye Drop Products Could Cause Serious Health Risks, FDA Warns
Consumers are being warned by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to immediately stop using two eye drop products because of potential bacterial or fungal contamination that could cause serious health risks. The advisory covers products distributed by LightEyez Limited, including Dr. Berne's MSM Drops 5% Solution and LightEyez MSM Eye Drops – Eye Repair. Suspicious Sock Shipment: Officers Seize Counterfeit Socks Headed To Loudoun
Customs and Border Patrol officers seized another shipment of counterfeit diabetic socks headed to Loudoun County, officials said. On July 29, law enforcement found 165,707 pairs of diabetic socks that violated the Cotton seal at the Area Port of Norfolk-Newport News, just after they seized over 100,000 counterfeit pairs two weeks prior, according to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. Companies Selling Honey Tainted With Drugs Used To Fight Erectile Dysfunction: FDA
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued warning letters to four companies that allegedly illegally sold honey-based products that could contain drug ingredients found in erectile dysfunction medication. Testing by the FDA found that products being sold throughout the East Coast could pose a significant health risk to consumers due to the presence of drug ingredients that can be found in Cialis (tadalafil) and Viagra (sildenafil).
