Two Dead At Memorial Day Gathering In Fairfax County: Police
Two men were fatally shot and two children were stabbed with non-life-threatening injuries at a gathering where a backpack full of drugs was found in Fairfax County on Memorial Day. Police called to apartments on the 2200 block of Pimmit Run Lane in Falls Church around 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 29 found one man dead in a laundry room and another with gunshot wounds in the parking lot outside, FCPD's Deputy Chief of Investigations Eli Cory said. Spotsylvania Husband Hitchhiked To Avoid Drug Charges, Wife Arrested: Police
A couple from Spotsylvania went to great lengths to avoid charges for their drug crimes, police said. In the middle of the day on Oct. 5, an officer tried to pull over 24-year-old Sydney Woodyard and 25-year-old John Woodyard, who were both wanted by police, but the couple refused to stop their car, according to the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office.
