Inmate, 53, Found Dead In Cell At Fairfax County Detention Center
A 53-year-old inmate was found dead in her cell at the Fairfax county Adult Detention Center, police said. Latasha Dove was found unresponsive in her single cell at the ADC on Tuesday, Aug. 1, county police said. Deputies immediately began performing life-saving measures before fire and Rescue personnel responded and transported Dove to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy. Foul play is not suspected. Inmate Dies In Prince William-Manassas Jail
A 38-year-old Dumfries man died while in custody at the Prince William-Manassas Adult Detention Center over the weekend, authorities said. Wilber Garcia Benitez, 38, fell unresponsive in his cell at the at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, police said in an incident report. Jail staff attempted to give him first aid, but they were unsuccessful. Officials pronounced him dead at the scene. Prince William county police are investigating the death and have sent his body for autopsy. Officers do not suspect foul play, the incident report noted.

Federal Prisoner Dies At Alexandria Jail
A 25-year-old Fairfax County man died at the William G. Truesdale Detention Center in Alexandria on Wednesday, May 18, officials said. Anthony Moaf suffered a medical emergency while alone in his cell Wednesday morning, county officials said in a news release. Paramedics and the jail's medical staff gave emergency help, but Moaf died just before 9 a.m. He was booked into the jail on Monday, May 16.
