Sudden Death Of Popular VA Diner Owner 'Diesel' Sends Shockwaves Through Community
The death of a 27-year-old man is spreading sadness through a northern Virginia community.
Abed-Alruhman Sam Warden, a Sterling native, died on Wednesday, Aug. 7, his family said in a statement put out to the community in a Facebook group.
Warden, affectionately known as "Diesel," was the owner of Piccadilly Grill in Winchester, which has since been closed.
"The cause of his untimely demise remains uncertain, leaving our family in profound grief," the statement says.

Maryland State Police ID MA, NJ Women Killed In Crash, Virginia Victim Airlifted To Hospital
Two people were killed and a third was airlifted to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash in Charles County, state police confirmed.
On Thursday, police said that Norma Matthews, 81, of Lowell, Massachusetts, and Virginia Licata, 86, of Blackwood, NJ, have been identified as the pair killed in a crash on July 24 that shut down Route 301 for hours.
The other driver, King George, Virginia resident Caitlynn Connell, 28, was also flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to Capital Region Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

A 49-year-old man accused of killing his mother in a blood-smeared Pennsylvania home has been arrested in Washington DC.
Dolores Ingram, 82, was found dead inside 26024 Beacon Hill Drive on Sunday morning, June 16, after Bucks County radio dispatchers received a call from the Metropolitan D.C. Police Department to check on her well-being, the Bucks County DA's Office said.
Ingram's son, William Ingram, 49, was arrested for assaulting an officer and damaged a police car in Washington DC, police said.

Tragic Ending For Family Of Missing Woman, 26, Found Dead In Fairfax County
For days, Fayra Bonilla Rubi's family was stricken with worry.
The 26-year-old's loved ones said that "despite all kinds of problems," she remained good spirited.

Francisco Somarriba, of Fredericksburg, died on Wednesday, Oct. 4 — his 50th birthday.
A GoFundMe page launched for his children, 22 and 24, says Francisco was affectionately known as Yogi, and will be remembered for his "charisma, generosity, kindness, cooking skills and easy going [demeanor]."

Fairfax County's Nicholas Hoy Dies Week Before Marrying College Sweetheart
Support is on the rise for a bride-to-be who lost her Fairfax County husband a week before their wedding.
Nicholas Robert Hoy, of Vienna, died Sunday, Sept. 10, due to a medical emergency, according to his obituary and a GoFundMe page.
A GoFundMe for Nick's fiance, Haley Benetti, said the cause of death was an unexplained medical emergency. The campaign had raised more than $12,800 as of Thursday, Sept. 14.
Nick was a standout athlete growing up, having won the Northern Virginia Regional Championship in wrestling and played lacrosse for the Virginia State Championship.

Seventeen-year-old Roberto A. Martinez Inglis, of Falls Church, died on Saturday, Aug. 12.
A rising high school senior, Roberto hoped to join the Air Force, his obituary says.
"Roberto was a good teenager who constantly tried to impact the lives of those around him positively in his own unique way," his obit reads. "Well known in the football community, Roberto made sure that those closest to him were happy at all times."
