Two men in the DMV who have a lengthy rap sheet in Maryland and Virginia will spend time in prison following the armed robbery of a Chantilly check-cashing business, federal authorities announced this week.

The investigation into a domestic dispute in Arlington overnight led to the arrest of a 56-year-old man who is now facing weapon and other charges, police say.
Eric Salvan, 56, was arrested on Tuesday night following the investigation into the disturbance, which escalated when officers heard the distinct sound of a weapon being slid onto a rack.
