Speed is believed to be a possible factor in a crash that claimed the life of an 18-year-old driver in Virginia earlier this week, investigators say. Stafford resident Landon Lynn has been identified by the sheriff's office as the driver who was killed in an early morning crash on Wednesday. A pair already wanted for their past indiscretions is facing fresh drug charges following a dubious traffic stop in Stafford County on Wednesday night. Earlier this month, the sheriff's office launched an investigation into Jeremy Miller, 38, and Kiresten Torkos Incontri, 39, both from Stafford, which led to warrants for their arrest for multiple counts of distribution of controlled substances. A 68-year-old Stafford man with seven prior DUIs was found drunk behind the wheel yet again, this time with an unrestrained child, authorities said. Homer Maxey had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and admitted to drinking 12-ounce beers just before the collision with a Fauquier County Ambulance on Warrenton and Poplar roads just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
