87-Year-Old Manassas Driver Tried Ramming Good Samaritan With Car After Hit-Run Crash: Cops An 87-year-old Manassas man is facing charges for trying to ram a Good Samaritan, who tracked him down after a hit-and-run crash, with his car, police said. Harold Lawrence Schneider is believed to have struck a Toyota while trying to turn left onto Dumfries Road from Brentsville Road around 7:35 a.m. on June 3, Prince William County police said. Schneider left the scene in his Lincoln Town Car, but was followed by a civilian who saw it all, police said. Man Returns To Scene After Hotel Gunpoint Robbery, PWC Police Say A man who pulled a gun on a woman and robbed her of her purse in a hotel room racked up additional charges during his arrest when he assaulted a police officer, officials in Prince William County said. The 41-year-old victim was in a hotel room on Horner Road in Woodbridge with Howard Bernard Jenkins, 43, and one other man when Jenkins pulled out a gun and robbed her of her purse and phone around 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, PWC police said.
