Mugshot Released Of Gunman Threatening Neighborhood In Fairfax County, Cops (Video) Police have released details and the mugshot of an armed man who was captured on video leading a foot pursuit through Fairfax County. Adalberto Rivas Machado, 19, was found with a handgun in his pant leg after officers chased him down on Saturday, July 13, Fairfax County police said. Fairfax County PD Officers were called to the  8000 block of Richmond Highway in Hybla Valley around 3:45 p.m., where Machado had apparently been threatening community members with a gun, police said. Video shows Machado leading a foot pursuit before authorities catch up to him and arrest him. …

Thief Captured After Arlington Bicycle, Foot Chase: Cops A 34-year-old man was arrested after assaulting an employee trying to stop him during a robbery in Arlington, police said. A man later identified as Deonte Driver went into a business on the 700 block of N. Glebe Road around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, county police said. Driver allegedly took and hid items in a basket, and began to leave without paying. When confronted by two employees, Driver pushed one to the ground before fleeing the scene on a bike, authorities said. Axe-Wielding Robber Arrested After Arlington Pursuit, Police Say An 18-year-old Arlington man has been arrested for trying to rob a business he'd been banned from, authorities said. Daryl Palmer broke into a business he'd been banned from on the 4200 block of Fairfax Drive around 5:25 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, the sheriff's office said. He went behind the counter, at which point an employee called police, the office said. Palmer walked toward the exit, pulled out an axe hidden in a backpack, struck a display case and fled on food, police said.
