Headstone Heist: CT Police Searching For Brooklyn Family's Stolen Grave Marker
Police are asking for the public's help to find a gravestone stolen from a Connecticut cemetery. A family contacted Connecticut State Police this summer after the joint granite headstone for Gloria Benard and her son Michael Benard was taken from South Cemetery in Brooklyn, Windham County. The family is offering a $2,500 reward for information on who took the Twilight Red stone, state police said.
