Teen Charged As Adult In Shooting Death Of William Allen High School Football Player
A teenager in Lehigh County will be charged as an adult for his role in the shooting death of a William Allen High School football player, authorities said.
Elijah Patterson, 16, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 26, and charged with criminal homicide, firearms not to be carried without a license, and possession of a firearm by a minor, in connection with the death of 15-year-old Treshawn Tracy, according to Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin and Allentown Police Chief Charles Roca.

'Malachi Was A Kid:' 16-Year-Old Charged With Murder Of DC's Youngest Homicide Victim
A 16-year-old has been arrested and charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy from Washington DC, authorities said.
Malachi Jackson, of Northwest, DC, was shot to death in the 3000 block of 13th Street, Northwest, on the night of April 11, Metropolitan Police said.
Police arrested a 16-year-old boy, also of Northwest DC, on Tuesday, May 10, the department said. He has since been charged with first-degree murder.
Malachi's death gained media prominence as the youngest DC homicide victim of 2022, according to an article from WUSA9.

Teen Sentenced For DWI Crash That Killed 16-Year-Old Girl In Hudson Valley
An 18-year-old man has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to 17 charges in a Hudson Valley crash that killed a classmate and seriously injured other passengers in the vehicle.
Joseph DeBellis, of Airmont, was sentenced on Tuesday, March 15, to six months of incarceration followed by five years of probation, according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh.
The crash happened at about 2:50 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021, on Route 202 in Montebello when DeBellis, then 17, was a Suffern High School student.
