Stratford Man Accidentally Shoots Self With Nail Gun While Working At Job Site A Stratford man who police at first thought had been shot by a firearm, had actually shot himself in the hand with a nail gun while working at a construction job. The incident unfolded Thursday early evening when the Woodbridge Police Department was contacted by the Stratford Police Department after they responded to Bridgeport Hospital for the report of a walk-in gunshot victim, said Woodbridge Police Sgt. A.J.
