Fatal Crash: 46-Year-Old CT Woman Found In Wooded Area In Jeep By Resident
A 46-year-old Connecticut woman was found dead inside an overturned Jeep by a resident walking in the area. New Haven County resident Jessica Ciola, of Bethany, was found around 11:20 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 25 in the area of North Pease Road in Woodbridge. Ciola was discovered by a resident in the Jeep which was off the road, severely damaged, and partially overturned, said the Woodbridge Police. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel. A 16-year-old faces charges after threatening to shoot up a Connecticut school on social media, police said. The investigation into the threat began in New Haven County on Sunday, Aug. 27, when Woodbridge Police were alerted of a possible school shooting threat spread on an unnamed social media platform, the department announced on Wednesday, Oct. 11. A Connecticut woman was found shot in the head outside of a home with an infant nearby. The incident took place in New Haven County around 7:50 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 3 on Raymond Street in Woodbridge. According to Woodbridge Police Chief Frank Cappielo, officers responded to the home on a report of a shooting. A Connecticut man has been sentenced in a scheme to embezzle more than $927,000 from the company where he worked. The Connecticut State Department of Health broke down a list of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases statewide to find that nearly 40 percent of all deaths due to the virus were in nursing homes.
