A Montgomery County woman has been killed in a fatal hit and run and police are asking for the public's help in identifying the car involved. Luz Marina Roa, 59, was killed in the fatal collision that happened at the intersection of Veirs Mill Road and Ferrara Avenue, on Jan. 17, according to Montgomery County Police. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a light blue 2012-2015 Volkswagen Passat. A 4-year-old Long Island girl has died from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash last week in which her mother was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of drugs. Gracelyn Perkowski, of Riverhead, died Sunday, Jan, 16, said New York State Police Trooper Daniel Ahlgrim. Two-Vehicle Crash Leaves Man Seriously Injured, CT State Police Say
A driver was hospitalized with serious injuries following a head-on crash in Connecticut. A 2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 was westbound on East Canaan Road in Litchfield County in the town of North Canaan when it crossed the double yellow centerline and struck an eastbound 2012 Volkswagen Jetta at about 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, according to Connecticut State Police. Injuries Reported In Multi-Vehicle Hawthorne Crash Off Route 208
At least three occupants were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash in Hawthorne early Tuesday afternoon. A Volkswagen Jetta and Chevy Malibu were severely damaged in the crash on Lincoln Avenue at Rea Avenue near the exit from northbound Route 208 in Glen Rock. Linden Volkswagen Dealer Ravaged By Early Morning Fire
A Linden Volkswagen dealership was destroyed by an early-morning fire Friday. A garage of the business, located at 900 E. Elizabeth Avenue, was consumed by flames and heavy smoke condition around 6:35 a.m., local police said. The business was not open at the time and no injuries are reported. Union County Fire Mutual Aid was activated, and firefighters were still actively battling as of 8 a.m. Three alarms were called.
