A fifth person has been arrested in the violent home invasion that killed a Cumberland County detective, authorities said.
Byron Thomas of Paulsboro was charged with two counts of first-degree murder among other offenses, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Sgt. On Saturday, April 8, at 8:42 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to the 800 block of Indiana Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert.
