Days after a woman was picked up by police in Prince William County for child neglect, a man is in custody for his role in the domestic dispute that led to her arrest, officials announced.
Jerrell Christopher Johnson, 32, of Fredericksburg, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 23, following an investigation into a domestic incident at The Crossings at Summerland Apartments in the 13700 block of Keelingwood Circle in Woodbridge.

A 57-year-old man is facing arson and other charges in Connecticut after allegedly lighting a vehicle on fire, officials announced.
First responders in New Haven responded to an apartment complex in Milford over the weekend, where there was a report of a suspicious car fire that broke out near a High Street apartment complex.
The incident was reported on Sunday, May 22, according to police.

Attorney Arrested At Gunpoint In Missing Mom Case Allegedly Dug Makeshift Grave
As the news swirls around the arrests of Fotis Dulos and his ex-lover Michelle Troconis for the alleged murder of Fairfield County missing mom Jennifer Farber Dulos, another person was arrested as well, Kent Mawhinney, an attorney, and friend of Dulos.
Mawhinney, 54, of South Windsor, Connecticut, was reportedly arrested at gunpoint during a traffic stop by state police after searching for him for several hours on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Woman, 44, Violated Order Of Protection In Westport, Police Say
A Westport woman was arrested for violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct after threatening a person she was ordered to stay away from, Westport police said.
Nicole Richter, 44, was arrested around 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 8, after getting into an argument with the victim, who ran to a basement room and locked the door, but Richter attempted to force the door open, said Westport Police Lt. Jillian Cabana.
She was arrested and charged with violating a protective order. Richter was released after posting a $7,500 bond, Cabana said.
